Today is 6 July 2011…and yet again I have to say a year has gone by since I last posted anything! I’ve left Barcelona and come back to Vic…just because. It feels as though the only thing I have thought about in the last few years is managing to pay my rent. And I have. But I’m back and working on my greatest work of art EVER: I’m currently making a baby!

I know, who would have thought? And yet…So, I’m happy to inform that whilst I’m creating the most beautiful thing inside me I’ll also be paying more attention to wordpress and posting thingies…

Estilismes que vaig preparar per a l’Ingrid Picanyol. Aquestes son les fotos que he trobat a la seva web i he copiat perque es nega a donar – me les. I a sobre no son ni les bones.

These are from a photo shoot with Ingrid Picanyol which I had to copy and paste ’cause she wouldn’t give them to me. They’re not even the best ones.

Summer’s here. Time flies by. Took my little babies to school  for an expo but they’re just dead. I never thought they’d be like this because I just didn’t. But they’re dead.

El penjo perquè quedi demostrat que no estic mai de braços creuats. La pena és que dos anys deprés aquests dissenys no resulten novetats, però juro que si es miren les tendències d’aquell any es confirma que anava ben encaminada.  Evidentment, els dibuixos els va fer l’Eduard Fornieles, jo poso els dissenys i ell expressa amb el dibuix del figurí tots els sentiments de la col.lecció. Així formem Enaïd…

These drawings are by Edward Fornieles, taken from a collection I designed two years ago for a competition in Madrid. We  didn’t get selected and it was upseting as I felt so confident. Because at the time they were trully fresh, I promise. Nevertheless it was great working with him and creating Enaïd…

Aquesta noia és un tant especial. Sense voler – ho ha estat la meva musa. Mai m’ha negat ni una fotografia. És delicada i molt bella.  Les fotografies són d’en Pablo Vara i el muntatge és meu. Vaig pensar en la revista METAL però  mai les vaig arribar a enviar. També em van servir pel concurs de còmic.

This model is a friend of mine. I used to live with her and I’ve never met anyone with a beauty like hers. She’s always said “yes” when I’ve asked for her help and she’s ever so delicate. The photographer is Pablo Vara and I did the rest thinking about the Spanish magazine called METAL. I never did send the photographs but still…the fashion shoot was also the one I used for the comic competition.

Fa dos anys  els meus pares van descobrir que a Calldetenes celebren un concurs anual de còmic i vaig recollir tota la informació pensant en l’Eduard…però com era d’esperar ni es vèia motivat ni disposava de temps. Jo en canvi vaig llegir els premis i vaig pensar que alguna cosa es podria fer (acabava de descobrir photoshop). Bé, no vull mentir, al principi vaig treballar amb tinta xina en blanc i negre i plomilla però quan faltava molt poc per la data d’entrega em va sortir això i ¡sorpresa! em van donar el segon premi…Us imagineu la cara de l’Edu? Ojalà hagués tingut una càmara…

About two years ago I decided to try and do this for a competition, as Edu didn’t have the time and the prizes looked pretty good. And guess what? Second prize! Not bad for a first time. Glad I’d discovered photoshop…

Una altre il.lustració, em sembla que realitzada al dia següent… de nou l’Edu rèia de la meva paciència però, oh…quina dolça, dolça teràpia…una mica com cosir.

And another Vogue photograph used for this ilustration. I think this came just after the one shown before.  And this time Edu just laughed when he saw me drawing all these little lines. Little did he know it had become my own little private therapy. Photoshop can keep you sane. Almost like sowing, just no needles and thread involved.
